GIG1005 Social Engagement : Lesson Learnt

Assalamualaikum and hi peeps! Time flies so fast. I am already in my last post for my Social Engagement journal. I enjoy my time writing here since I used to have quite a passion for blogging a long time ago but since my university schedules were so hectic, I have to stop blogging for years. As for me, this journal-writing task in blog actually really bringing back old memories. I am so close to end this project. Rewind back to my first post regarding my preparation for the project. How we proposed the plan and the fact that we already in a two-way-agreement to build IT Workshop for the school students in SK Bangsar. Unfortunately, the plan was cancelled and we have to start all over again to come out with other project plan. At last, we decided to make poster about the COVID-19 outbreak to spread awareness in social media. My latest post was about the execution of the project. GIG1005 Social Engagement : Execution

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! Today, I will continue my journal regarding my Social Engagement project. In my previous post, I told about the preparation process which is, considered as step 1, today I will tell my step 2 and obviously it was regarding the execution process. As I mentioned before, we could not proceed with the IT Workshop project in SK Bangsar because of the sudden outbreak of COVID-19. Because of that, I and my other course mates were told to make a poster regarding preventive measures to combat COVID-19. I was really excited and can't wait to start making the poster since I really love designing, well even though i don't really have the talent anyway, but still, I have a bunch of free time so, I started to do it in a slow pace. GIG1005 Social Engagement : Preparation

Hi everyone!  Before I get started, I will introduce myself first. I am Nurul Hanani Binti Mohamad Zameri, first year student in Faculty Computer Science and Information Technology, majoring in Software Engineering. I will write a journal regarding how I involved myself in GIG1005 Social Engagement’s project. I will explain a little bit about this subject. Social Engagement or I called it as SE, which consists of 2 credit hours, is a subject that requires me and my friends to contribute to the society. For us to contribute something, we have to come up with a project. So this is my in-making-project journal entries. Let’s begin! First Week : I was told to gather at DK2 for my first ever SE class. I quite disappointed because I can’t get to see my actual lecture-in-charge for the project.
